INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCED STUDY , School of Historical Studies , Opportunities for Scholars 2016-2017. The Institute is an independent private institution founded in 1930 to create a community of scholars focused on intellectual inquiry, free from teaching and other university obligations. Scholars from around the world come to the Institute to pursue their own research. Candidates of any nationality may apply for a single term or a full academic year. Scholars may apply for a stipend, but those with sabbatical funding, other grants, retirement funding or other means are also invited to apply for a non-stipendiary membership. Some short-term visitorships (for less than a full term, and without stipend) are also available on an ad-hoc basis. Open to all fields of historical research, the School of Historical Studies' principal interests are the history of western, near eastern and Asian civilizations, with particular emphasis upon Greek and Roman civilization, the history of Europe (medieval, early modern, and modern), the Islamic world, East Asian studies, art history, the history of science and philosophy, modern international relations, and music studies. Residence in Princeton during term time is required. The only other obligation of Members is to pursue their own research. The Ph.D. (or equivalent) and substantial publications are required. Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies
Core Fellowship Programme is the basis of all HCAS activities. Most of our Fellows are appointed through it.
Basic characteristics of the Programme:
* Annual open call usually from early August to early September
* Open to researchers from the humanities, social sciences, behavioral sciences, theology and law, as well as to researchers in other fields who focus on topics related to the human sciences
* Employment, not a grant programme
* Fixed term appointments for 1-3 years
* For all career levels beyond the doctorate (post-docs, mid-career researchers, and full professors)
* Usual number of appointments 8-12 per year
* Number of applications has been 350-450 per year, with well over 50 % from outside Finland

ASEES 2016 Annual Conference

The British Association of Slavonic and East European Studies (BASEES) invites proposals for panels, roundtables and papers for its 2016 Annual Conference. The conference will be held 2-4 April and will be based at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, United Kingdom. The 2015 conference attracted more than 450 people.
Panels, roundtables and papers are welcome in the following areas: Politics; History; Sociology and Geography; Film and Media, Languages and Linguistics; Literatures and Cultures; Economics. The conference especially welcomes participation by postgraduate research students and young scholars.
To propose a panel or a paper you will need to fill in a proposal form. There are separate forms for panels/roundtables and papers, which can be download from the conference website ( http://www.basees2016.org ). You should download the appropriate form, fill it in electronically, and return it via email to the appropriate subject stream email address AND to the conference email address ([email protected]).
The deadline for panel/roundtable proposals is 2 October 2015, and 18 September 2015 for individual paper proposals.

The Central Slavic Conference is pleased to invite scholars
of all disciplines working in Slavic, Eurasian, and East
European studies to submit proposals for panels,
individual papers, and roundtables at its annual meeting
to be held on the campus of Saint Louis University,
October 23-25, 2015.
Founded in 1962 as the Bi-State Slavic Conference, the
Central Slavic Conference now encompasses seven
states and is the oldest of the regional affiliates of
ASEEES (Association for Slavic, East European, and
Eurasian Studies). Scholars from outside the region and
from around the world are welcome.
Proposals for papers, panels, and roundtables should
be submitted by email to CSC President Dr. David
Borgmeyer ([email protected]) no later than
September 1, 2015. Early proposals are encouraged.
All proposals should include:
Participant name, affiliation, and email contact
information;
For individual paper / poster presentation: title and
brief description (limit 50 words);

Limited funding is available to provide graduate students

present

Description: The re-enactment of artistic performances
and actions is a topic that has garnered much attention
in recent years, most notably catalogued in Amelia
Jones' and Adrian Heathfield's substantial publication
Perform, Repeat, Record: Live Art in History (2012). Given
the fact that, in many cases, artistic transfer from one
generation to the next did not occur in the traditional
manner - through the academies - in Eastern Europe,
re-enactments of artistic performance can function, in
the region, as a witness to the forgotten past, functioning
as a vehicle of cultural memory. Additionally, it can facilitate
the transfer of ideas, history and practice from one
generation to the next.
This panel invites papers that discuss artistic re-enactments
of performances from across the former communist and
socialist countries of Central, Eastern and Southern
Europe in recent artistic practice. The papers in the panel
should interrogate some of the following questions: What
are the various functions of artistic re-enactments of
performances in Eastern Europe? How do these functions
compare with current understandings of re-enactment in
the West? How can re-enactments be used to access a
lost or inaccessible history (such as performance art in
Eastern Europe)? Also welcome are papers that consider
revisiting culturally relevant or historically significant
places by artists or within the context of artistic re-
enactments.

THE CONTEMPORARY: CULTURE IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY
PRINCETON UNIVERSITY, MARCH 3–5, 2016
We are constantly under pressure to define the “now.” When did it begin? What does it include? When will it end? Recent attempts to capture this moving target have offered an array of starting points--the end of World War II, 1968, the end of the Cold War, the start of the new millennium, 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis. These attempts have also offered an array of periodizing concepts--postmodernism, post-postmodernism, late capitalism, neoliberalism, the anthropocene, the post-civil rights era, the post-human.
We propose to respond to and circumvent this pressure in two ways. First, by creating a dialogue between our periodizing concerns and recent literature and art. Second, by contextualizing our concerns against recent developments in politics, science, technology, philosophy, and education. We aim to illuminate what makes the now new—and how and why we should study it.
“The Contemporary: Culture in the Twenty-First Century” will take place from March 3–5, 2016, at Princeton University. We invite early and mid-career scholars to propose 20-minute papers that examine the culture of the twenty-first century and the question of contemporaneity itself.
The conference will focus primarily on literature in English, but we are open to scholarship that addresses work in other languages and in a range of media. We hope that the conference will be a unique opportunity to discuss major issues in the emerging field of twenty-first century literature and art. The conference will feature six panels, each organized around three speakers and one respondent.
Keynotes will be delivered by Johanna Drucker and Ali Smith. We plan to use the conference as the foundation for an edited volume. Accepted participants will receive a travel allowance and lodging from Princeton.

Региональные конкурсы РГНФ 2016 года
В целях осуществления регионального сотрудничества в области гуманитарных наук РГНФ объявляет региональные конкурсы по следующим областям знаний гуманитарных наук:
01 - история; археология; этнография;
02 - экономика;
03 - философия; социология; политология; правоведение; науковедение ;
04 - филология; искусствоведение;
06 - комплексное изучение человека; психология; педагогика; социальные проблемы здоровья и экологии человека;
07 - глобальные проблемы и международные отношения.
В рамках региональных конкурсов поддерживаются следующие типы проектов:
«а(р)» – проекты проведения научных исследований, выполняемые научными коллективами или отдельными учеными;
Срок реализации проектов проведения научных исследований, выполняемых научным коллективом или отдельными учеными по региональным конкурсам составляет – 1 или 2 календарных года.
«г(р)» – проекты организации мероприятий, в том числе конференций и семинаров, по научным направлениям, поддерживаемым Фондом;
«е(р)» – проекты экспедиций, полевых и социологических исследований, научно-реставрационных работ, необходимых для получения новых данных в области гуманитарных наук.
Проведение проектов типа «е(р)» возможно только в тех субъектах Российской Федерации, которые отмечены знаком «*» в « Перечне региональных конкурсов и субъектов Российской Федерации – участников этих конкурсов ».
Сроки подачи заявок, общие правила проведения конкурсов РГНФ, правила проведения экспертизы заявок, критерии определения размеров грантов, правила подведения итогов конкурсов РГНФ и условия реализации поддержанных проектов указаны в соответствующих разделах Основного объявления о конкурсах Российского гуманитарного научного фонда 2016 года .
В связи с тем, что в субъектах РФ могут быть установлены дополнительные требования, рекомендуется перед оформлением заявки проконсультироваться непосредственно с представителем регионального экспертного совета соответствующего региона.
Печатные экземпляры заявок следует направлять в региональный экспертный совет субъекта РФ, в котором проживает и работает грантозаявитель, и в РГНФ.

Печатные экземпляры заявок, отправленные по факсу, или заявки, отправленные по электронной почте, не регистрируются и не рассматриваются.
К рассмотрению в РГНФ не принимаются:
– заявки, печатные экземпляры которых не поступили в соответствующий Региональный экспертный совет, соответствующего субъекта Российской Федерации;
– заявки, не допущенные к конкурсу региональным экспертным советом.
По всем региональным конкурсам к рассмотрению будут приниматься только заявки, подготовленные в соответствии с правилами, изложенными в разделе « Оформление заявок » Основного объявления о конкурсах Российского гуманитарного научного фонда 2016 года.

ОСОБЕННОСТИ ПРОВЕДЕНИЯ РЕГИОНАЛЬНЫХ КОНКУРСОВ
В соответствии с заключенными между Российским гуманитарным научным фондом и субъектами Российской Федерации соглашениями «О конкурсах проектов в области гуманитарных наук» предусматривается паритетное финансирование проектов региональных конкурсов со стороны РГНФ и администраций субъектов РФ.
Ученый в качестве руководителя проекта может подавать заявки для участия в региональных конкурсах только в рамках того субъекта Российской Федерации, на территории которого он проживает и работает.
В соответствии с «Положением о региональном конкурсе проектов в области гуманитарных наук» все поступившие на региональный конкурс заявки проходят независимую поэтапную экспертизу. На первом этапе заявки рассматриваются Региональным экспертным советом соответствующего субъекта РФ (далее РЭС). РЭС принимает решение об их допуске к научной экспертизе в РГНФ.
Причинами недопуска РЭС заявок к региональному конкурсу являются:
-несоответствие заявок требованиям РГНФ;
-несоответствие научного содержания заявок интересам региона.
Внимание!
Списки поступивших заявок и протоколы заседаний РЭС ( строго в соответствии с формами РГНФ ) с обоснованием принятого решения направляются в РГНФ до 18:00 (по московскому времени) 22 сентября 2015 года (включительно) в сканированном виде по электронной почте [email protected] , а затем в печатном виде по адресу РГНФ: 123557, Москва, Пресненский вал, 17. РГНФ. Документы принимаются только с сопроводительным письмом за подписью председателя (заместителя председателя) экспертного совета. Электронный и печатный вариант предоставляемых документов должны быть идентичными. В случаях, когда списки поступивших заявок и протоколы заседаний РЭС в электронном виде поступают в РГНФ позже указанного срока, Фонд оставляет за собой право отправить все поступившие на региональные конкурсы заявки, соответствующие формальным требованиям РГНФ, на экспертизу без учета мнения РЭС.
На втором этапе допущенные к конкурсам заявки проходят многоэтапную научную экспертизу по правилам, установленным Фондом. При определении объема финансового обеспечения отобранных на конкурсной основе научных проектов, кроме критериев указанных в разделе « Правила проведения экспертизы заявок, критерии определения размеров грантов » Основного объявления о конкурсах Российского гуманитарного научного фонда 2016 года, учитывается объем паритетного финансирования, установленного Соглашением между РГНФ и соответствующим субъектом Российской Федерации.
Результатом второго этапа экспертизы являются сформированные экспертным советом РГНФ по региональным конкурсам списки рекомендуемых к поддержке проектов с предложенными объемами финансового обеспечения каждого проекта, которые направляются на согласование в РЭС.
На третьем этапе РЭС рассматривает полученные из РГНФ списки рекомендуемых к поддержке проектов с предложенными объемами финансового обеспечения каждого проекта. РЭС может не согласиться с предложенным РГНФ списком и внести изменения в рекомендуемые объемы финансового обеспечения каждого проекта, с обязательным предоставлением обоснования своего решения. При этом не допускается превышение запрашиваемой грантозаявителем на финансирование проекта суммы. РЭС не имеет полномочий пересматривать решение РГНФ по проектам, не рекомендуемым к поддержке.
В публикациях, подготовленных в ходе или по итогам выполнения проектов региональных конкурсов, обязательно указание не только номера и названия проекта, но и название конкретного регионального конкурса, например: Исследование выполнено при финансовой поддержке РГНФ и Республики Алтай в рамках научного проекта № 16-11-10001. Невыполнение данного условия может явиться основанием для отрицательной оценки отчета по проекту. Независимо от времени выхода в свет публикации 1 экземпляр (копия) опубликованной работы должен быть представлен в Фонд.
В установленные Фондом и соответствующим субъектом Российской Федерации сроки руководитель проекта представляет ежегодный промежуточный научный отчет (в случае выполнения проекта более одного года) или после завершения проекта итоговый научный отчет в РГНФ по правилам РГНФ и в РЭС по его правилам. Научные отчеты должны содержать сведения о выполнении плана заявленных работ по проекту, сведения о направлении расходования средств, а также копии публикаций по проекту.

«а2» – проекты проведения научных исследований, выполняемые коллективами, состоящими полностью из молодых ученых, включая руководителя;
«б(ф)» - проекты участия молодых российских ученых в научных мероприятиях за рубежом по научным направлениям, поддерживаемым Фондом.
Конкурс подготовки научно-популярных трудов:
«к(ф)» – проекты подготовки научно-популярных трудов, выполняемые отдельными учеными, по направлениям, поддерживаемым Фондом;

СРОКИ ПОДАЧИ ЗАЯВОК

Для конкурсов 2016 года РГНФ устанавливает следующие сроки подачи заявок, оформленных и распечатанных через Информационную систему (далее – ИС РГНФ):
– начало оформления заявок в ИС РГНФ – 01 июня 2015 года ;
– окончание регистрации заявок в электронном виде в ИС РГНФ – до 18:00 (по московскому времени) 10 сентября 2015 года ;
– окончание приема печатных экземпляров заявок – до 18:00 (по московскому времени) 15 сентября 2015 года .
Примечание: заявки в электронном виде, поступившие на регистрацию в установленный срок и направленные сотрудниками РГНФ на доработку, после соответствующей доработки должны быть направлены и зарегистрированы в ИС РГНФ в срок до 18:00 (по московскому времени) 14 сентября 2015 года. При этом печатный экземпляр заявки должен поступить в Фонд не позднее 15 сентября 2015 года.
В случае поступления печатного экземпляра заявки после истечения установленных сроков, вне зависимости от даты его отправки, заявка к конкурсу не допускается.

Zirin Prize in recognition of an independent scholar in
the field of Slavic Studies. The award of $500 is named
for Mary Zirin, the founder of Women East-West. Working
as an independent scholar, Zirin produced and encouraged
fundamental works in Slavic/East European Women's
Studies and has been instrumental in the development
of the AWSS. The Prize aims to recognize the achievements
of independent scholars and to encourage their continued
scholarship and service in the fields of Slavic or Central
and Eastern European Women's Studies. The Committee
encourages the nomination of candidates at all career
stages. For the purpose of this award, an independent
scholar is defined as a scholar who is not employed at
an institution of higher learning, or an employee of a
university or college who is not eligible to compete for
institutional support for research (for example, those

The British Association of Slavonic and East European Studies (BASEES) invites proposals for panels, roundtables and papers for its 2016 Annual Conference. The conference will be held 2-4 April and will be based at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, United Kingdom. The 2015 conference attracted more than 450 people.
Panels, roundtables and papers are welcome in the following areas: Politics; History; Sociology and Geography; Film and Media, Languages and Linguistics; Literatures and Cultures; Economics. The conference especially welcomes participation by postgraduate research students and young scholars.
To propose a panel or a paper you will need to fill in a proposal form. There are separate forms for panels/roundtables and papers, which can be download from the conference website ( http://www.basees2016.org ). The Central Slavic Conference is pleased to invite scholars
of all disciplines working in Slavic, Eurasian, and East
European studies to submit proposals for panels,
individual papers, and roundtables at its annual meeting
to be held on the campus of Saint Louis University,
October 23-25, 2015.
Founded in 1962 as the Bi-State Slavic Conference, the
Central Slavic Conference now encompasses seven
states and is the oldest of the regional affiliates of
ASEEES (Association for Slavic, East European, and
Eurasian Studies). Scholars from outside the region and
from around the world are welcome.
Proposals for papers, panels, and roundtables should

Description: The re-enactment of artistic performances
and actions is a topic that has garnered much attention
in recent years, most notably catalogued in Amelia
Jones' and Adrian Heathfield's substantial publication
Perform, Repeat, Record: Live Art in History (2012). Given
the fact that, in many cases, artistic transfer from one
generation to the next did not occur in the traditional
manner - through the academies - in Eastern Europe,
re-enactments of artistic performance can function, in
the region, as a witness to the forgotten past, functioning
as a vehicle of cultural memory. Additionally, it can facilitate
the transfer of ideas, history and practice from one
generation to the next.
This panel invites papers that discuss artistic re-enactments
of performances from across the former communist and
socialist countries of Central, Eastern and Southern
Europe in recent artistic practice. The papers in the panel
should interrogate some of the following questions: What
are the various functions of artistic re-enactments of
performances in Eastern Europe? How do these functions
compare with current understandings of re-enactment in
the West? How can re-enactments be used to access a
lost or inaccessible history (such as performance art in
Eastern Europe)? Also welcome are papers that consider
revisiting culturally relevant or historically significant
places by artists or within the context of artistic re-
enactments.

THE CONTEMPORARY: CULTURE IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY
PRINCETON UNIVERSITY, MARCH 3–5, 2016
We are constantly under pressure to define the “now.” When did it begin? What does it include? When will it end? Recent attempts to capture this moving target have offered an array of starting points--the end of World War II, 1968, the end of the Cold War, the start of the new millennium, 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis. These attempts have also offered an array of periodizing concepts--postmodernism, post-postmodernism, late capitalism, neoliberalism, the anthropocene, the post-civil rights era, the post-human.
We propose to respond to and circumvent this pressure in two ways. First, by creating a dialogue between our periodizing concerns and recent literature and art. Second, by contextualizing our concerns against recent developments in politics, science, technology, philosophy, and education. We aim to illuminate what makes the now new—and how and why we should study it.
“The Contemporary: Culture in the Twenty-First Century” will take place from March 3–5, 2016, at Princeton University. We invite early and mid-career scholars to propose 20-minute papers that examine the culture of the twenty-first century and the question of contemporaneity itself.
The conference will focus primarily on literature in English, but we are open to scholarship that addresses work in other languages and in a range of media. We hope that the conference will be a unique opportunity to discuss major issues in the emerging field of twenty-first century literature and art. The conference will feature six panels, each organized around three speakers and one respondent.
Keynotes will be delivered by Johanna Drucker and Ali Smith. We plan to use the conference as the foundation for an edited volume. Accepted participants will receive a travel allowance and lodging from Princeton.

В целях осуществления регионального сотрудничества в области гуманитарных наук РГНФ объявляет региональные конкурсы по следующим областям знаний гуманитарных наук:
01 - история; археология; этнография;
02 - экономика;
03 - философия; социология; политология; правоведение; науковедение ;
04 - филология; искусствоведение;
06 - комплексное изучение человека; психология; педагогика; социальные проблемы здоровья и экологии человека;
07 - глобальные проблемы и международные отношения.
В рамках региональных конкурсов поддерживаются следующие типы проектов:
«а(р)» – проекты проведения научных исследований, выполняемые научными коллективами или отдельными учеными;
Срок реализации проектов проведения научных исследований, выполняемых научным коллективом или отдельными учеными по региональным конкурсам составляет – 1 или 2 календарных года.
«г(р)» – проекты организации мероприятий, в том числе конференций и семинаров, по научным направлениям, поддерживаемым Фондом;
«е(р)» – проекты экспедиций, полевых и социологических исследований, научно-реставрационных работ, необходимых для получения новых данных в области гуманитарных наук.
Проведение проектов типа «е(р)» возможно только в тех субъектах Российской Федерации, которые отмечены знаком «*» в « Перечне региональных конкурсов и субъектов Российской Федерации – участников этих конкурсов ».
Сроки подачи заявок, общие правила проведения конкурсов РГНФ, правила проведения экспертизы заявок, критерии определения размеров грантов, правила подведения итогов конкурсов РГНФ и условия реализации поддержанных проектов указаны в соответствующих разделах Основного объявления о конкурсах Российского гуманитарного научного фонда 2016 года .
В связи с тем, что в субъектах РФ могут быть установлены дополнительные требования, рекомендуется перед оформлением заявки проконсультироваться непосредственно с представителем регионального экспертного совета соответствующего региона.
Печатные экземпляры заявок следует направлять в региональный экспертный совет субъекта РФ, в котором проживает и работает грантозаявитель, и в РГНФ.

К рассмотрению в РГНФ не принимаются:
– заявки, печатные экземпляры которых не поступили в соответствующий Региональный экспертный совет, соответствующего субъекта Российской Федерации;
– заявки, не допущенные к конкурсу региональным экспертным советом.

ОСОБЕННОСТИ ПРОВЕДЕНИЯ РЕГИОНАЛЬНЫХ КОНКУРСОВ
В соответствии с заключенными между Российским гуманитарным научным фондом и субъектами Российской Федерации соглашениями «О конкурсах проектов в области гуманитарных наук» предусматривается паритетное финансирование проектов региональных конкурсов со стороны РГНФ и администраций субъектов РФ.
Ученый в качестве руководителя проекта может подавать заявки для участия в региональных конкурсах только в рамках того субъекта Российской Федерации, на территории которого он проживает и работает.
В соответствии с «Положением о региональном конкурсе проектов в области гуманитарных наук» все поступившие на региональный конкурс заявки проходят независимую поэтапную экспертизу. На первом этапе заявки рассматриваются Региональным экспертным советом соответствующего субъекта РФ (далее РЭС). РЭС принимает решение об их допуске к научной экспертизе в РГНФ.
Причинами недопуска РЭС заявок к региональному конкурсу являются:
-несоответствие заявок требованиям РГНФ;
-несоответствие научного содержания заявок интересам региона.
Внимание!
Списки поступивших заявок и протоколы заседаний РЭС ( строго в соответствии с формами РГНФ ) с обоснованием принятого решения направляются в РГНФ до 18:00 (по московскому времени) 22 сентября 2015 года (включительно) в сканированном виде по электронной почте [email protected] , а затем в печатном виде по адресу РГНФ: 123557, Москва, Пресненский вал, 17. РГНФ. Документы принимаются только с сопроводительным письмом за подписью председателя (заместителя председателя) экспертного совета. Электронный и печатный вариант предоставляемых документов должны быть идентичными. В случаях, когда списки поступивших заявок и протоколы заседаний РЭС в электронном виде поступают в РГНФ позже указанного срока, Фонд оставляет за собой право отправить все поступившие на региональные конкурсы заявки, соответствующие формальным требованиям РГНФ, на экспертизу без учета мнения РЭС.
На втором этапе допущенные к конкурсам заявки проходят многоэтапную научную экспертизу по правилам, установленным Фондом. При определении объема финансового обеспечения отобранных на конкурсной основе научных проектов, кроме критериев указанных в разделе « Правила проведения экспертизы заявок, критерии определения размеров грантов » Основного объявления о конкурсах Российского гуманитарного научного фонда 2016 года, учитывается объем паритетного финансирования, установленного Соглашением между РГНФ и соответствующим субъектом Российской Федерации.
Результатом второго этапа экспертизы являются сформированные экспертным советом РГНФ по региональным конкурсам списки рекомендуемых к поддержке проектов с предложенными объемами финансового обеспечения каждого проекта, которые направляются на согласование в РЭС.
На третьем этапе РЭС рассматривает полученные из РГНФ списки рекомендуемых к поддержке проектов с предложенными объемами финансового обеспечения каждого проекта. РЭС может не согласиться с предложенным РГНФ списком и внести изменения в рекомендуемые объемы финансового обеспечения каждого проекта, с обязательным предоставлением обоснования своего решения. При этом не допускается превышение запрашиваемой грантозаявителем на финансирование проекта суммы. РЭС не имеет полномочий пересматривать решение РГНФ по проектам, не рекомендуемым к поддержке.
В публикациях, подготовленных в ходе или по итогам выполнения проектов региональных конкурсов, обязательно указание не только номера и названия проекта, но и название конкретного регионального конкурса, например: Исследование выполнено при финансовой поддержке РГНФ и Республики Алтай в рамках научного проекта № 16-11-10001. Невыполнение данного условия может явиться основанием для отрицательной оценки отчета по проекту. Независимо от времени выхода в свет публикации 1 экземпляр (копия) опубликованной работы должен быть представлен в Фонд.
В установленные Фондом и соответствующим субъектом Российской Федерации сроки руководитель проекта представляет ежегодный промежуточный научный отчет (в случае выполнения проекта более одного года) или после завершения проекта итоговый научный отчет в РГНФ по правилам РГНФ и в РЭС по его правилам. Научные отчеты должны содержать сведения о выполнении плана заявленных работ по проекту, сведения о направлении расходования средств, а также копии публикаций по проекту.

УСЛОВИЯ КОНКУРСА
СРОКИ ПОДАЧИ ЗАЯВОК

Для конкурсов 2016 года РГНФ устанавливает следующие сроки подачи заявок, оформленных и распечатанных через Информационную систему (далее – ИС РГНФ):
– начало оформления заявок в ИС РГНФ – 01 июня 2015 года ;
– окончание регистрации заявок в электронном виде в ИС РГНФ – до 18:00 (по московскому времени) 10 сентября 2015 года ;
– окончание приема печатных экземпляров заявок – до 18:00 (по московскому времени) 15 сентября 2015 года .
Примечание: заявки в электронном виде, поступившие на регистрацию в установленный срок и направленные сотрудниками РГНФ на доработку, после соответствующей доработки должны быть направлены и зарегистрированы в ИС РГНФ в срок до 18:00 (по московскому времени) 14 сентября 2015 года. При этом печатный экземпляр заявки должен поступить в Фонд не позднее 15 сентября 2015 года.
В случае поступления печатного экземпляра заявки после истечения установленных сроков, вне зависимости от даты его отправки, заявка к конкурсу не допускается.

The Association for Women in Slavic Studies (AWSS) is

Zirin Prize in recognition of an independent scholar in
the field of Slavic Studies. The award of $500 is named
for Mary Zirin, the founder of Women East-West. Working
as an independent scholar, Zirin produced and encouraged
fundamental works in Slavic/East European Women's
Studies and has been instrumental in the development
of the AWSS. The Prize aims to recognize the achievements
of independent scholars and to encourage their continued
scholarship and service in the fields of Slavic or Central
and Eastern European Women's Studies. The Committee
encourages the nomination of candidates at all career
stages. For the purpose of this award, an independent
scholar is defined as a scholar who is not employed at
an institution of higher learning, or an employee of a
university or college who is not eligible to compete for
institutional support for research (for example, those
teaching under short-term contracts or working in
administrative posts). We welcome nominations from
CIS and Central and Eastern Europe. The Zirin Prize
Committee will accept nominations (including self-

The School of Languages, Linguistics & Film at
Queen Mary University of London seeks to
appoint a member of staff to participate in, and
co-ordinate the language teaching in its
department of Russian. Candidates, who should
be proficient speakers of Russian, should have
experience of Russian language teaching at
undergraduate level and/or a qualification in
the teaching of Russian as a foreign language,

The post is full-time and permanent. The
